Introduction to the Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 QuietPoint® Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones

Audio Technica's ATH-ANC9 Over-the-Ear Headphones don't have an overly heavy duty look to them, which makes them unassuming and clean looking. But, of course, headphones are about functionality.

Although the ear foam is fine and feels comfortable on my head, the headphones themselves don't feel all that sturdy and the included cords look like they'd lose an arm wrestling match with a piece of spaghetti. I don't expect to hammer nails with the phones but I do want to feel like they'll outlive the fruit in my refrigerator.

These headphones were a very comfortable. I tried these out a LOT and they spent a good amount of time on my "average" sized dome. The padding along the top band and on each earphone definitely feels right with just the perfect amount of seal so that they didn't feel tight on my head.
